What do you understand by Entrepreneurship?
People have different meanings to entrepreneurship, I feel entrepreneurship is about thinking of a product or service that could help people and make a difference to someone’s life. There are many business owners who have different shops on high street, mainly selling for cash in hand. Off course they sell items, which are in need for daily use, but their end goal is to just earn money and they probably least care if people like the product.
For example, Apple, Late Steve Jobs thought of an innovative idea that helped millions of people worldwide to use technology in a different way to save time and make life easier.
We do hear that entrepreneurs change the world by creating ideas that could be of help to everyone in the future. They also make a difference to the economy in terms of employment.

Is Entrepreneurship for you?
To be an entrepreneur is not easy and it’s a lonely journey. You should be ready to hit with many setbacks and failures, you will have many unsuccessful years before you taste some success. You will have to spend less time with the people who are toxic, negative and pulling you down as a person.
You have to set boundaries and constantly learn to grow, as personal growth is a must for entrepreneurship. You should be willing to work long hours on your own without any help or support.
Majority of the people don’t have the finance to start off a venture, hence, it’s understandable and wise to work 9 to 5 and build your dream on part time basis initially. In this case you have to spend even more hours, also taking in the tiredness and fatigue from your day time job.
Sacrifice is another term for entrepreneurship as you have to cut down on socialising and going on holidays in your early stages. Off course, do meet like-minded people who will help you in your path and build useful contacts, hence, networking for business purposes is vital to your dream.
As a business owner you have to SELL! Or else entrepreneurship is not for you, simple. Selling is the way you pick up skills, learn about yourself and make money. It will be outside your comfort zone to begin with but eventually you will love selling and become expert at it. “Life begins at the end of your comfort zone”
As an entrepreneur you might not see profit for a while as its a big challenge to earn money. A customer/client will only pay you if they trust, hence building that trustful relationship is important. Being persistent and offering top customer service is the fundamental part of a business.
